Welcome! Thank you for investing in yourself.
Are you ready to feel more clear, congruent, and confident in your relationship with money? If you answered yes, then raise a celebratory cheeky glass and cheers to your future financial freedom. How, I hear you ask? Well, the first step to creating a healthy relationship with money involves actually spending time getting to know your money!
This is not about how much you have, it is about the clarity and freedom that manifests as a result of knowing where the money you do have is going. Does your spending align with your highest self? Does it reflect your future and long-term goals? It may feel nerve-wracking to ask these questions at first, however with some self-loving deep breaths and this program to guide you, all you have to do is say yes to developing a healthy, conscious relationship with money.
The holistic and practical financial tools that I am about to share with you have completely transformed my life. Creating consistent loving awareness around my relationship with money has not only made me more financially free but has also strengthened my relationships. My partner and I have been refining the spreadsheets that have helped us pave the way to our financial freedom - and we cannot wait to share them with you!
Please feel free to change / add / subtract any of the categories. These are just a suggestion and a basic guide to get you started.
Money Tracker Training
At the end of each day, we invite you to record everything you have spent money on and what you have earned. If you miss a day, get out your bank account records and fill in your earnings/spending. However, try not to make this a habit, especially if you are using cash.
Getting in the habit of tracking your numbers everyday can be challenging - but we promise it gets easier!
It takes no longer than 3 - 5 minutes a day to track your numbers.
(The trackers can be accessed at the tabs at the bottom of the page.)
After you have finished completing four weeks of numbers with the Weekly Tracker, we have a Monthly Tracker for you to use.
At the end of each month, we invite you to gather the numbers from your Weekly Tracker and record the total figure for everything you have spent money on and everything you have earned. Once you acknowledge what your ingoing and outgoing costs are, you will be able to see where your spending is aligned and where they are not.
To help with this, we have created some questions that you can answer to help you make better financial decisions for the following month - do not worry, you'll be rolling in it in no time!
MONTHLY SPENDING PLAN
After you have tracked your numbers for an entire month, you can now reward yourself with a sexy spending plan for the following month. (Whoo! Champagne is on you!) By looking at your numbers from the month before and what commitments you have for the following month, you can make a budget for each of your categories. At the end of the month you will be able to compare your budget to what you actually spent. Following this exercise are some questions to ponder to help you create a new spending plan for the following month.
ASSETS & LIABILITIES
Now is your chance to really transform your relationship with money. By acknowledging old debts and celebrating any assets you may have, you can begin to shift a heavy relationship with debt into financial (and emotional) freedom.
Take your time filling out this spreadsheet and be as accurate as possible. This section may also involve having to start some uncomfortable conversations with organisations, friends, family, and romantic lovers; so be kind to yourself and give yourself the gift of being clear and assertive with your financial circumstances.
This is a bonus gift for you. A lot of people who are chaotic with their finances are also what we call 'time debtors.' I challenge my clients to track their time for at least a week so they can see where their focus is and if they want to shift their priorities. How much time are you spending developing your abilities? Are you engaging in activities that bring you joy? Are you more passive or active in your downtime? All of these factors contribute to your relationship with yourself, and therefore your relationship with money.
This is our other gift for you who work for yourself, perhaps have an ABN and can find it hard to separate your business and personal numbers.
At the end of each month, we invite you to record the total figure for everything you have spent money on and everything you have earned in your business. We have a category that we have labelled as 'profit' where you can start saving a percentage of your earnings in your business. Once you acknowledge what your ingoing and outgoing costs are, you will be able to see where your spending is aligned and where they are not.
To help with this, we have created some questions that you can answer to help you make better financial decisions for the following month.
These spreadsheets have created so much clarity, confidence and peace in our life. However, this should not be a substitute for spiritual recovery.
If you have an addiction to underearning, debt or overspending it is highly suggested to sort out a mentor, community groups, meditation, prayer or other holistic practises that can help you develop a loving relationship with money and most importantly yourself. Having more money does not take away your money problems. It may put a band aid on them for a while but will never be a permanent solution. These spreadsheets are part of our daily practise and I genuinely hope they help you. If you have any questions or challenges, please feel free to contact us and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you are looking for mentoring, please feel free to reach out at any time. Sending you lots of love.
